Eye On Environment At Ananta, we foster environment-friendly policies and believe infashion without cruelty. The cashmere/pashmina wool is harvested from goats during their annual molting season when the animals begin to lose the protective alyer of down. The raw fibre is gathered through the shedding or the shearing of their down and no animal is harmed in the process. Pashmina/cashmere has no connection with the internationally banned shahtoosh which is procured from the endangered Tibetan antelope Chiru (Pantholops Hodgsonii). It is totally legal & safe to process pashmina/cashmere products and enjoy their timeless beauty & elegance.
